During the creation of my last painting, I decide to show the progress to my Facebook friends.  It was a fun process and I got a lot of positive feedback doing it.  So, I decide that if I added a blog to my website more people than just my Facebook friends could see the process and hear my thoughts as I am creating my artwork.  Well, here it is my new blog. I hope you enjoy reading it and viewing the art. Just remember as you are reading, I am a better artist than I am a writer.

About the Timothy E. Page

Tim is an artist living in Gresham, Oregon, with his wife and children.  I love to use my giftedness either painting or writing computer software.  So, I have come up with a method to combine them both in a creative way.  My artwork features colorful pixilated images painted with acrylics.  Since I use very vibrant colors, I find bold iconic people, places, or objects as my subject matter.  My canvases are painted one value at a time and utilize from ten to twenty-five values.  I prefer acrylics for their fast drying time.  Because I am painting thousands of little squares, drying time is important.
Plus, I am impatient. Once I start, I’m anxious to see the finished piece.
